Holy Intricate Super Hero Movie, Batman!

Matt Reeves and Peter Craig (who wrote The Town) have done a yeoman’s job on making a smart super hero movie. At 2 hours and 55 minutes, I feared boredom and stupidity. But I was proven wrong!
I’m a sucker for Pattinson (and I never watched Twilight), but please get thee to a tv and watch The Lighthouse and then Good Time (no S, this a Safdie Brothers movie that is dynOmite!) and as Batman, he was the perfect pale, emo type to take it to the limit.
Zoe Kravitz is sexy and talented. Paul Dano is perfect for a maniacal nut case (though someone please give him a sincere role next, I loved him in Love and Mercy) as down and out Brian Wilson. Jeffrey Wright was solid as was Andy Serkis.
A great car chase and interesting bat crime fighting trinkets added the perfect spice.
A few detractors relating to wasting talent: Colin Farrel was unrecognizable as The Penguin, which is a negative…I mean he could have been Joe Schmo…you have to give us a hint to who the celebrity is, otherwise we’re just watching The Mask. And Peter Saarsgard is wasted as a corrupt D.A.
